FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Base prices are listed above, however rates vary, depending on a number of factors such as the number of rooms, the amount of styling needed, and the amount of retouching required. A quote can be provided based on your specific needs.
Rates include florals and greenery on the day of the shoot, behind-the-scenes video clips for use in social media, and both high resolution and web versions of all the retouched images.
Often multiple parties are interested in using images from the same photoshoot. A 20% discount is offered for two business that share a shoot. If they share a full day photoshoot, then each party would receive $450 off of the standard $2,250 day rate. If three or more parties are interested in sharing a shoot, each receives 30% off the standard rate.
Specific images that each party needs during the shoot are guaranteed, and each party gets to choose their own images from the finished image gallery.
Mary Pat Collins Photographer maintains the copyright to all images created. You are purchasing a license to use that image for your marketing needs: on your website, on your social media platforms and in your print marketing media. It does not include magazine editorial usage or third party vendor usage. If a magazine or vendor would like to use images from your project, connect them with Mary Pat Collins Photography and they will receive an invoice separately.
Each project begins with a conversation about the project, location, time-line and your overall needs (i.e. goals for final images). It helps if you can provide cell phone photos of the space for planning purposes. Some projects require a scouting on-site walk through. Afterwards, you'll receive an estimate and contract.
The day of the shoot will be a collaborative experience to capture your vision for the space. Mary Pat will shoot tethered to an iPad or laptop so unedited images can be reviewed together and alter the composition as needed.
Mary Pat can work both independently or collaboratively. She would be happy to work with a stylist you have in mind, or has a few that she highly recommends.
Within four weeks of the shoot, images will be delivered to you in an online gallery. Anything can be tweeked at that time. Once you have made your selections, you will receive the final invoice for the balance of the shoot. After the balance is paid, the images will be derived via dropbox. Each image will be delivered as a full resolution ready for print, and a lower resolution perfect for sharing on your website and social media.
